== History ==
In 249, [[Cklserolva]] and the [[EotLP]] signed a mutual defense agreement, to protect against the growing threat of forced assimilation into the [[Nakorentan Union]] by the [[Death Corps]]. The treaty was very simple (less than a page long), and simply stated that, if either's sovereignty should be violated by an outside force, they would respond as one.

In 250, [[Srebvona]] joined the alliance. Both the EotLP and Cklserolva began sending military aid, training, and supplies to [[Verskaell]]. In 250, Emperor [[James Krennic]] of the EotLP wrote laws that gave Cklserolva and Srebvona special trade relationships, which were echoed by the other two member nations. Although not official, the defense treaty was clearly growing to become an economic treaty as well.

[[Buklirasakzi]] added itself to the treaty in 252, and was also added to all of the economic benefits that the other members shared.

In 254, after a failed coup by Nakorentan-backed forces, [[Soramti]] tendered an offer to join the growing alliance, however before they could be accepted, the Death Corps annexed them on behalf of Nakorenta.

In 256, [[Kurazistan]] joined the alliance as well.

== Third Balkavanian War ==
On the 30th of 258, in response to the [[Invasion of Rennia]], Cklserolva declared war on the Nakorentan Union, followed closely by all the other members. Ironically, the EotLP didn't actually declare war until the following day, in response to all 9 vassal states of the Union declaring war on the EotLP.
