As a sign of honour and gratitude, [https://wazungu.net/eotlp/index.php/James_Krennic Emperor James Krennic]'s first official act after Tiberius Rex abdicated in his favour was to officially name him "Emperor Emeritus" of the EotLP. == Consort of the EotLP ==
The Role of Consort of the EotLP was not strictly Defined in the 228 Constitution, as Emperor Ren was well known to be [https://wazungu.net/eotlp/index.php/Sexuality asexual], and had originally planned to hand off power to an elected body before his death. Ak Etkia was unmarried at the time of his short-lived coup.

Therefore the first Imperial Regent to be officially instated was Emperor Tiberius Rex's Husband, Rennian Military Officer & Krennic Loyalist [https://wazungu.net/eotlp/index.php/Andrew_Vibaldua First Lieutenant Andrew Ciusidia Vibaldua], on the 25th of Mara, 247, when Rex became Emperor. He acted as Rex's spokesman during the Emperor's time in Hospital, which was spent in a Coma.

When Rex regained consciousness from his coma and abdicated in favour of Krennic, Shenyu Krennic became the first Empress of the EotLP, a position which she held until the final day of 261, despite her Husband's death in 259. As the Consort of the EotLP, she was denoted as the nominal Head of State between Emperor James Krennic's Death and the crowning of the next Emperor, which Tiberius Rex (who had effectively controlled the country since 252) decided would take place on the first day of 262, and would see Duke [https://wazungu.net/eotlp/index.php/Mikael_Cagne Mikael Cagne] crowned Emperor.

Emperor Cagne's Husband, [https://wazungu.net/eotlp/index.php/Milo_Veauxerr Milo Veauxerr], styled himself in the same was to Consort Vibaldua. Despite rising tensions between the two, Cagne also inexplicably granted Rex's second spouse - [https://wazungu.net/eotlp/index.php/Vjosa_Rex Vjosa Kephjs], whom he married in 267 - the right to style herself in the same manner as Rex's late husband Andrew Vibaldua. She chose to style herself as the Empress Emerita, a title which Emperor Cagne officially granted on the 40th of Ibil, 267
