== Early Life & Irinian Self-Determinist ==
Born on the 16th of Suriel, 146, in Balka County, John Osborne grew up a peasant under Kings Chammond I and William IV of the Catlish Dynasty. His intelligence shone through his low standing, and he was granted permission to attend a Royal Academy for his education in 154. However, this closer proximity to the Royal Family & Nobility of the Catlish began to turn him against the Monarchs, a sentiment which resulted in him being thrown out of the Royal Academy in 162. He continued his education himself, though, and began working as a Machinist in Legoia, while also writing several works of anti-Monarchist literature by night, which were never published, but would later be repurposed for the Rennian Resistance. In 169, he married Nina Tanze, 1 year his junior, who he had first met at the Royal Academy. Nina was verifiably a part of the Upper Class, being distantly related to a Noble Family, and being the daughter of one of the richest plantation owners in the Catlish Empire. She was disowned by her family for her choice to marry a commoner. Her family would later be wiped out during the Latian Invasion of Irin. Nina echoed John's dislike of the Catlish Dynasty, and the two became relatively known in the underground communities advocating Irinian Self-Rule (the Catlish Dynasty was Legoian in origin). In 176, the couple had their first and only child, [[Michael Norman Osborne|Michael Normal Osborne]]. Nina died three days after the birth due to complications resulting from the birth.
