It is owned by Kai Octan, and based out of Karebyr, EotLP.

Funded by the EotLP-based Oil Conglomerate, they are almost always at the forefront of Engine & Chassis Development. The National Team ran on modified versions of the Octan Car. While generally not quite as Technically Advanced as the Osborne Team, their Driver Selection is usually regarded as better, although not as elite and selective as the National Team.

Kai Octan was not only the Team Owner, but also the Lead Engineer until Season 10, when he hired retired Octan Driver Mikael Cagne.

Octan won both the First Driver's and Constructor's titles, with Salem Hoods at the forefront of their success. Season 2 saw them lose the Driver's title to Vance Lewison, but keep the Constructor's. Season 3 brought them victory in both fields again, with Mikael Cagne roaring to distant victory, despite only winning once the entire season. Their next Driver's title was achieved in Season 10, with Julia Young, who narrowly edged out Camilla Cyne and Anna Aster for her maiden title.

Season 1
In the sport's maiden season, Octan took both Titles, with Salem Hoods narrowly beating out Vance Lewison by just 5 points, with 420 total points. Octan cruised to a much wider Constructor's Victory with their UX2 and OE20C10, as Osborne had not yet nailed the regulations, and National ran an adapted version of Octan's car, which they didn't know quite as well as the car's designers and makers. With 2 wins from both Hoods, and Mikael Cagne, who finished 1st and 3rd overall, Octan had a first Season to be proud of.

Season 2
Season 2 proved a much more dramatic season for Octan, as Hoods fell far behind (with only 1 win), and missed out on a repeat title by just 5 points, even after Lewison (who scored 3 wins across the season) crashed out of the final race. They won the Constructor's Title by Tie-breaker from Osborne, who found form in Season 2, with one of their drivers, Josep Vikalkin, winning 2 races, and finishing just narrowly behind Hoods overall. Both teams finished with a total of 19 constructor's points, but with 13 podiums to Osborne's 12, Octan were awarded the title for the second year in a row.

Season 3
Season 3 saw the return of Octan Dominance, as Mikael Cagne stormed to his maiden title, after winning Race 3, which all of the other Title contenders crashed out in (the crash killed Octan Protégée Natasha Hughes). Despite only having that sole win to his season, Cagne kept so far ahead of his rivals in points that he had already mathematically won by the end of Race 5. On the Constructor's Front, with a win from each Hughes and Cagne, Octan finished 4 points ahead of National, having kept the top spot for the entire Season.

Season 4
Season 4 saw tons and tons of Drama, as new parts introduced with the new regulations proved to have horrible reliability, and at every race, at least three drivers failed to start. This chaos was well represented in the Championship standings, as 5 different drivers, including both Hoods and Cagne, took turns leading the standings. When Kira Sanchez surprisingly won the title in Race 6, Hoods was just 5 points behind her in 2nd place, and Cagne just 20 more points behind. Despite a problematic, unpredictable season, Osborne's car emerged as the clear best, as they powered to a 4 point lead, despite being in last by 4 points at the season's half-way point.

Season 5
Season 5 proved Osborne's dominance under the new regulations, as their new poster-child and sole champion, Sanchez, won every single race by a huge margin. Her teammate, Vikalkin, also thrived with the dominant Osborne, and finished 2nd overall, just 55 points behind Sanchez. Hoods managed to come third, but her good season wasn't enough to save Octan from finishing 5 points behind National, who in turn were 17 points behind Osborne. This terrible season resolved Octan's engineers, because they were not ok with coming last, especially not behind a team that ran on slightly modified versions of their own hardware.

Season 6
Eva Sayll finally unseated Sanchez as Champion in a very unceremonious and controversial way, after Sanchez and three other front-running Osbornes crashed out in a dramatic fashion. Octan's Lily Gasly capitalized on the circumstances, and stormed her way to her maiden victory, giving Octan their first race win since Cagne's win in a similar situation in Season 3. Sayll went on to take the title from Sanchez by the skin of her teeth, despite not having even a single career win. Octan had begun their comeback, though, and finished second, 2 points ahead of National, but still 17 behind Osborne.

Season 7
In what later became known as Enginegate, Octan sold National "UX9" engines for Season 7 (which, in truth, were barely modified UX8s, which Octan had run during Season 6), while developing for themselves a brand new, high-power Rotary Engine, the URX1. National felt cheated, and this truly marked the beginning of the end of relations between the two teams. National never bought more hardware from Octan, and began running their own hardware in Season 9. And Octan didn't see immediate gains with their new engine. They finished in second, 22 points behind Osborne, and only 4 points ahead of Osborne. However, on a driver's angle, they began to make a comeback. Gasly and Sanchez were locked in a dead battle, which finally ended with Sanchez in 2nd, 20 points ahead of Gasly. But Gasly left her impression on Sanchez, and it seemed inevitable that they would clash again, which they did.

Season 8
Sanchez won her third title in Season 8, 5 points ahead of Gasly. But while Gasly never led the championship, she kept the pressure on Sanchez, winning two races - the same number as the eventual champion. Octan also finally saw the improvement they wanted from the Wankel Engines they had begun producing the previous season. They finished just 10 points behind Osborne, who took their 5th constructor's title that season, and 16 points clear of National, who took no effort to upgrade any part of their car for Season 8, choosing, rather, to work on their Season 9 car with extra effort.

Season 9
Under new technical regulations, Gasly managed a 2nd overall finish, with a win at Race 3. Anna Aster won the title 25 points, but Octan saw this as a good step towards winning another title. However, Gasly, who had spear-headed the team for the past several seasons, left Formula Lego after her rival and friend, Sanchez, was killed in the tragic Race 6 accident. Hoods also left the team, to join the new team, Silva. This left Julia Young as the apparent leader of the team a position which she, with only a single win and a sole other podium in her 4 years at Octan, didn't quite seem ready for that role. On the Constructor's Front, Octan narrowly missed out on a fourth title, by virtue of 2 podiums, as National scored a stunning first season on their own technology.

Season 10
Octan finally found winning ways after 6 mediocre seasons with Julia Young's tight Title Victory, over Camilla Cyne and Aster. Young's victory marked the culmination of several years of Octan Engineering. Her victory in the final race secured her among legendary names like Cagne and Hoods. Octan fared worse on the constructor's side, as Fire finished 13 points clear of them, and National narrowly beat them out for a repeat Constructor's Title. While an incredible year for Young, Octan's new Technical Director, Cagne (the champion) knew that more work would need to be done if they could find success like that again.

Season 11
Season 11 looked promising from the start: Rookie Adrienne De Leon kept the title race dangerously close to National's Aleks Rosya all throughout the season, aided significantly by Team Rookie Diana Perko. The two of them nearly secured De Leon a title, however, at the final race, Rosya scored escaped Perko's defence, and scored a position high enough to guarantee his title by 5 points.

Season 12
In their last attempt before a major rules shift, Octan pressed hard on National, and took the challenge to them, and even beyond them at some points. They maximised every opportunity, especially Anna Aster's injured streak during which National had only scoring cars on the Grid. The two teams entered the final of 12 races equal on Constructor's Points, but lost out by just a single point, taking second overall for the second year running, and the 7th time ever. On the Driver's Front, De Leon once again just barely failed to outscore Aleks Rosya, and came a close second to him for the second year running. Diana Perko finished 3rd overall, although quite distant from the title leaders. Julia Young tied with Fire's Josep Vikalkin for P5, as well. Mikael Cagne announced his retirement at the end of the season, and was replaced in-house by Alberto Binleska, who was promoted from Octan's head of Team Strategy (a distinct position from the Head of Race Strategy; Team Strategy relates specifically to the general direction of the team, and is more akin to a manager)
