New page

<u>Pierre Aloise Zendeli</u> was a former National and Octan FL Driver, who raced from Seasons 2 - 7. He was the first Roblavi Formula Lego Driver. After leaving FL as a driver, he returned in Season 10, as Quantos' Technical Officer, a role he filled for two seasons, before moving to Erit Victor for a season in the same role. After concluding his career as a Technical Officer, he was hired to be the World Formula Lego Commission's first Chief Safety Officer, a role he was especially suited to considering his experience as a Driver, Technical Officer, and experience working with Erit - a team focused extremely strongly on safety.

Pierre raced at National with the number 35-12, and at Octan with the number 35-15

Biography & Early Life
Pierre was born in the suburbs of Monta Roblov, the capital of Côte Blanche.

National Years (Seasons 2 - 3)
Pierre started his FL Career quite well, placing in the points at four of Season 2's six races, placing P12 over the season, and P4 within National. His performance was good enough to warrant him a 1-year contract extension with National.

Pierre failed to score points across all of Season 3, and National chose not to renew his contract for another Season.

Octan Years (Seasons 4 - 7)
Based upon his success in Season 2 as a rookie, Octan Team Manager Hadley Benett offered Pierre Octan's standard 2-year starter contract, which he gladly took.

Capitalizing on the chaos of failing spark plugs and tens of DNSes across Season 4, Pierre scored well in the 5 races he managed to finish, placing P14 across the season, with 145 points, despite a DNS at Race 4, and P5 within Octan.

Without as much Chaos to capitalize on during Season 5, Pierre fell slightly down the order, finishing only P20 overall, with 10 points, and P7 within Octan. However, Octan's new Manager, Lucilla Svilar, felt he had proved himself adequately to warrant a second two-year contract.

Even as Octan improved during Season 6, Pierre did not. He slipped down the overall Championship Order, finishing only P22 overall, and within Octan he slipped the same distance: P9 of 10 was all he could manage, with a measly 5 points. However, Pierre still had one more season to try and prove his worth to the Grid.

Despite the huge ramifications of not performing well in Season 7, Zendeli found himself hard pressed to achieve any good results, and found himself without a single points finish for the second season in his career. He finished the season P29 overall, and P10 within Octan. Unsurprisingly, Svilar chose not to renew his contract again.

Quantos' Technical Officer
Both before and after entering FL as a driver, Zendeli had pursued Engineering as a career path, and he continued to seek education and experience in the automotive world. When Tomo Docrik announced his intention to run a team in Season 10, Zendeli applied for the position of Technical Officer, and, after several assessments and interviews, he found himself with position. He led development, in mostly a managerial role, of the first three Quantos Chasses and Engines. The Season 10 & 11 Quantos was adequate for the role Docrik had intended for it to fill, and even managed a win, at Season 11 Race 3. Zendeli led development of the Season 12 Vehicle as well, but was seconded to Erit Victor, a new team intending to run Quantos machinery and hardware for their own entry, starting in Season 12.

Erit Technical Officer
Zendeli found Erit a terrible team to work with, and with the added weight of the Erit Safety System's extra and excess safety hardware, the car was uncompetitive with everyone except the incredibly poorly designed Tikam, even while their engine supplier, Quantos, was challenging Team Windsor for 5th in the Constructor's Title Battle. Zendeli found Erit's upper management (ASG Intl.) to be uncooperative, and more focused on sponsorship money than on the raceability of their car. After numerous conflicts with them, including having extra safety systems he was required to put into the Season 13 Erit (Despite the fact that Erit was already significantly over the weight limit), Zendeli terminated his contract with Erit, and, by extension, Quantos.

WFL Chief Safety Officer
After leaving Erit, Zendeli was approached by Hekwu Karnu, at the time the Commissioner of the GP Commission. Karnu was in the process of transitioning the Commission out of direct Rennian Government Control, into the independent, international World Formula Lego Commission. As Part of this restructure, Karnu had created several new senior roles than he needed people to fill. Zendeli, who had experience as a driver, as well as a technical officer, was offered the role of Chief Safety Officer (CSO) at the WFL. He accepted, and quietly began to work with Karnu and Ayn Solka, the new Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Zendeli's work with Erit, although frustrating, proved invaluable in terms of understanding Safety Requirements.
