	The Office of President of the Republic was created by Document 4 (Charter of the Federal Government of the Rennian Republic) of the [[Fundamental Governing Documents of the United Commonwealth Republic of Rennia]], which was passed by the [[Board of Democratic Transition]] alongside Documents 5 & 6 on the 10<sup>th</sup> of Ibil, 271. The BoDT unanimously Elected Tiberius Rex as the Transitional President of the Republic. With the Passing of Document 12 (Immutable Responsibilities and Rights of the First Transitional Government), the office of President was allowed to be filled permanently for the first term without a nation-wide election, but rather by a vote amongst the BoDT.
