There are 7 standard compounds, 5 dry slick compounds, and 2 wet grooved compounds.

The dry tires are called compounds 1 - 5, where compound 1 is the fastest and least durable, while compound 5 is the slowest and most durable. The tires are colour coded for easy organization, as well as easy differentiation by viewers, with White representing Cp#1, and the colour getting darker and darker to Red, representing Cp#5

The Damp tires are made for when the track is wet, but not under active rain, or when the rain is light (less than a centimeter an hour). They are coded as Cp#D by the EotLP GP Commission.

The Wet tires are made for when the track is extremely wet, or under rain of more than a centimeter an hour. They are coded as Cp#W by the [[EotLP GP Commission]].
