President of the Rennian Republic

The President of the United Commonwealth Republic of Rennia is the Head of State of the Rennian Republic, intended to be a counterbalance and Sober Office of Though to the Meblat-Elected Rennian Prime Minister. The President is the most senior member of the Council of Tetrarchs.

Creation of the Office of President

The Office of President of the Republic was created by Document 4 (Charter of the Federal Government of the Rennian Republic) of the Fundamental Governing Documents of the United Commonwealth Republic of Rennia, which was passed by the Board of Democratic Transition alongside Documents 5 & 6 on the 10^th of Ibil, 271. The BoDT unanimously Elected Tiberius Rex as the Transitional President of the Republic. With the Passing of Document 12 (Immutable Responsibilities and Rights of the First Transitional Government), the office of President was allowed to be filled permanently for the first term without a nation-wide election, but rather by a vote amongst the BoDT. They Unanimously chose him to Serve until the 3^rd Court Cycle Elections, meaning he would serve (including his term as Acting President) for 18 years, 2 months, and 30 days, until the year 289.
