274 Rennian Elections
The 271 Rennian Elections, which were a set of concurrent Elections across the Rennian Republic on the 34th of Orfin, 274, during which Rennian Voters simultaneously elected the Second President of the Rennian Republic, and Eight Provinces Elected their Lieutenant-Governors.
Presidential Election
President Tiberius Rex had been constitutionally allowed to hold the position of President for a significantly longer time than the constitutional term limit of 15 years, because of his unique position as the Transitional Leader. However, he chose to invoke his own transitional powers, and end his own term 15 years early, allowing for there to be an Election for the highest official in the Nation just 2 1/2 years after their first Parliamentary Elections, as opposed to the expected 17 1/2
