EotLP Designation Structures

This is a comprehensive overview of the Various Designation systems used within the EotLP

Within this Document, unless otherwise stated, X denotes a letter, and 0 denotes a number

License Plates

The EotLP ran a single national system of License Plate, with several sub-classes for easy identification.

Every Plate Designation began with ED (Standing for "By Emperor's Decree)

Trailers were denoted by adding a T to the beginning of the license plate form (i.e. Privately Owned Trailers carried the form "ED T000 XXX"), except for Commercial Trailers, which followed their own form.

Private Vehicles

The Majority of Cars within the EotLP, Private Vehicles were any vehicle used mainly for transport of persons and goods for no commercial incentive.

Private Vehicles' License Plates carried the form "ED 000 XXX" in Black, on a white background, with the Flag of the EotLP and "EotLP"

Commercial Vehicles

This is an example of a standard, 2:3 ratio EotLP Commercial Vehicle License Plate

Commercial Vehicles were qualified as any vehicle used for a purpose to make money. This included Taxis, Busses, but also transport Trucks and any other vehicle owned by a corporation or company.

Commercial Vehicles' License Plates carried the form "ED 0 XXX 0" on a light blue background

Trailers

Corporately owned or used trailers carried the form "ED 00 XXX T" Corporately owned or used trailers were the only form of trailer to get their own form; ever other trailer simply added a T at the beginning of the License Plate form.

Public Vehicles

Public Vehicles were classified as all vehicles owned "by the public interest" (a term which meant by the government or its branches"

National Government Vehicles

National Government Vehicles, including the vehicles of Senior Advisors to the Emperor, or any of the various branches of government overseen directly at a National Level.

National Government Vehicles' plates followed the form "ED NGXX 000" on a dark blue background

Regional Government Vehicles

Regional Government Vehicles, including the vehicles of Regional Protectors, or any of the regionally administered branches of government, were plated according to the form "ED RGXX 000"

Imperial Vehicles

EotLP License Plate 2:3 Imperially Owned
This is an example of a standard, 2:3 ratio EotLP Imperially Owned Vehicle License Plate

Imperial Vehicles were classed as any vehicles directly owned by, or for the support, protection, and transport of the Emperor and the Emperor's Family, or any other vehicles the Emperor decreed were to be imperially plated.

Imperial Vehicles had plates following the form "OE X0X initials" where initials was replaced by the initials of the Emperor who purchased or decreed the plating of each specific vehicle. For example, Sergio Ren's vehicles were plated "SR" and James Krennic's vehicles were plated "JK"

Imperial Plates were the only plates not to bear the ED prefix, rather going with the OE, which stood for "Owned by the Emperor"

Military Vehicles

Vehicles owned or operated by the EotLP Military were plated according to the form "ED MV XXX 000"

Military Vehicles' Plates were dark green, with Black Lettering

Police Vehicles

All Police Vehicles, excluding registered undercover vehicles, which were registered as any other form of plate, were plated to the form of "ED NP0 XXX"

Police Plates were Black, with White Lettering on them.

Medical, Firefighting, and Humanitarian Non-Profit Vehicles

Medical Vehicles (including Medical Supplies Transportation) as well as any vehicles owned by Local or Regional (or even Military) Fire Fighting Forces as well as any vehicles registered to officially registered humanitarian non-profit organisations, were all legally grouped as "Humanitarian Vehicles."

Humanitarian Plates followed the form of "ED H00 XXX"

Humanitarian Plates were Red, with Black Lettering.

Diplomatic Vehicles

Diplomatic Vehicles were vehicles owned by Recognized and Registered International Diplomats assigned to the EotLP, or Officially Recognized International Embassies.

Diplomatic Plates followed the scheme of "ED DAX 000"

Diplomatic Plates were White, with Blue Lettering.

Balkavanian Sovereignty Union Vehicles

Countries who were part of the Balkavanian Sovereignty Union had a special sub-set of Diplomatic Plates, indicating imperial favour.

They followed the form "ED DBX 000" and were Blue, with Gold Lettering.
