James Krennic
James Krennic (12th Zabez, 167- 7th Orfin, 259)
Emperor from the 33rd Mara, 247 - 7th Orfin, 259
General in the NRR/Ottenburg and the NRR Army, Commander, General, High General and High Commander of the EotLP Army, 4th Emperor of the EotLP
Some consider Krennic to be the second Emperor, due to the informality and strange circumstances of both Rex’s and Etkia’s Reigns. Because Ren named him as his heir just before his death, some maintain that he was the rightful Emperor the 8 ½ total days that Etkia and Rex reigned. However, he has stated that Ren’s naming of him as the heir was more symbolic, and meant to tell Krennic that-whatever the cost-he was to take back the throne from the Traitor Etkia. He has also quoted the constitution, which states that in order to claim to be the heir, the previous Emperor must have put it in writing, and made a public statement to support that fact, neither of which Ren did. Others say that he was never the rightful Emperor, and the story of Ren naming him as his heir was fabricated, and point to the fact that (in an early, publicized version of Ren’s will, he named Michael Osborne as his Heir, but any mention of Ren’s heir was removed by the next draft, which was also publicized. The final draft (which was not publicized until after Ren’s death), didn’t mention his heir.

Formula Lego
As Formula Lego had suspended all activities during the Etkian Coup, Formula Lego as an Organization (and the National team in particular) didn't recognise Etkia or Rex as ever having a claim to being the Owner of the National Team. Therefore, according to the official records, Krennic became the owner, however symbolically that may have been, of the National Team on the 20th, and they simply didn't have an official owner between Ren's death and that moment. Krennic was never very involved in his own team, although he did attend races as a fan. His biggest contribution was when he ordered the EotLP GP Commission to update the safety regulations after Kira's Sanchez' Death in the penultimate race of Season 9.

Health Decline & Death
James Krennic was born on the 12th of 167, in the EotBTH, in the region of Iseli. When he was just 18, the inhabitants of his home began to rise up against their oppressors, and he joined them, becoming among the top tacticians that helped the NRR gain independence, despite having no military or tactical training by then. The new independent nation gave him as much training as possible, the re-instated him into the army, as they knew the incredible resource they had in him. He remained in the NRR Army until 225, 28 years after he helped them win their independence later-when he was forced by his legion to surrender to the advancing EotLP army, after the foolish and dying NRR sent him to crush Ren’s Second Rebellion, for which he was poorly funded and supplied, which led to Ren-who has publicly admitted that he was nowhere near as good a tactician as Krennic-conquering his forces. He was regarded as among the best tacticians in the world, and certainly the best in the NRR. He was also regarded as the best of the NRR’s top generals. Of those, he is the last surviving, too. After the 12th legion-which he was in command of at the time-surrendered to Ren, he was imprisoned until after the NRR officially dissolved into the EotLP, after which all POWs were released. Ren offered Krennic a position in his high command, which Krennic initially refused. Known for being fiercely loyal, Krennic did not want to swear allegiance to a faction of Rebels. However, once he really, fully began to understand that the NRR-which he had spent most of his life protecting-was completely engulfed by the EotLP, and the best way to protect its history & population was to protect that of the EotLP, he took up Ren’s offer. He quickly grew to love his new nation, and rose to the position of High Commander-and was considered to be Ren’s Second-in-Command. After the first few Mercenary-fueled rebellions in the EotLP, during which Krennic frequently risked his life for Ren, the Emperor began to take Krennic into his confidence more than any other person. While Ren was friends with Osborne, Osborne’s stance was that, unless a rebellious force threatened or was perceived to be threatening any of his Civilian Businesses or Employees, he would remain Neutral, even during a rebellion. Because of that, Krennic was often trusted with state secrets that-apart from him-only Ren knew. Many expected that, in Ren’s first published will, Krennic would be named his heir, because he had no children, but rather Osborne was. Rumour has it that Krennic felt betrayed by this, but did not show it, since he was so loyal to the Emperor. The next year, when Ren’s revised will was published, it had removed all mentions of an heir. All subsequent published wills also had no mention of an heir. Speculation on this matter runs rampant, but currently experts agree that Ren did not want to name an heir in his will, but rather in a public speech on an important anniversary of the state, and make it official in writing another time. However, Ren died just a day before the 10th anniversary of the EotLP, on which many scholars believe he was intending to name Krennic Emperor. To this extent, on the day that the First Emperor was murdered, he had no heir apparent, which allowed Etkia to take control of the nation (albeit for a short while), by claiming the royal scepter. Everyone present at Ren’s death maintains that he called for Krennic, and told him with his dying breathto “take the throne back from that son of a…” but some believe this is a fabricated story to give Krennic the support of the people once on the throne. After he was given the sceptre and it’s responsibilities by Tiberius Rex (Who defeated Etkia in a challenge for the sceptre), Krennic became either the second, third, or fourth emperor of the EotLP. While official EotLP historians agree that, legally, Etkia was Emperor for 3 days, many people oppose granting status to this murderer and traitor, and therefore do not count Rex as an official Emperor either, because if Etkia was not official, then how could he win the throne from someone who wasn’t emperor. Therefore, many people still maintain that, since Ren named (or allegedly named) Krennic as his heir before he died, he was the Emperor from the moment that Ren died, no matter the location of the Sceptre.
James Krennic made an incredible leader, and led his nation incredibly, but it couldn’t last forever. As he aged, the weathered and respected Emperor began to become more erratic. Once, he declared war on the neighbouring Cklserolva. However, his generals, and bodyguard Tiberius Rex (the Emperor Emeritus) managed to talk him down before the declaration became public. As he grew older, and older, and more and more erratic, those closest to him became increasingly worried about the trajectory of their nation. Eventually, The Emperor began to clearly lose his mind (although this was kept hidden from the public), and became quite violent. His main generals as well as Imperial Guard Captain Rex began to formulate a plan if he continued to live on, but in a deranged mental state. It didn’t take long for their plan to become necessary. On the 8th of 263, when the Emperor was a few days short of being 96, he was walking around his palace, when he grabbed a gun from a guard standing at duty, and shot the guard and one of his body guards before running off. The rest of the bodyguards stopped to help their fallen comrade, and contacted Rex, who was not on duty at the time. He contacted Marshall Kaspier Lehreit (the country’s top general), as well as the Air Force and Space Force Marshalls Dirk Ryder and Victor Wilson (the other generals, Zin Evanki and Poe Dartmoor, were both in space at the time). The four of them sounded the Rennia Alarm, which told all citizens to find shelter inside. The deranged Emperor made his way into the street, firing his weapon uncontrollably. One soldier was killed who tried to stop the emperor. However, eventually, Lehreit managed to subdue him, and the four of them sedated the Emperor and moved him to the Military Hospital. There they had a psychologist evaluate his mental state. The anonymous specialist deemed him mentally unstable, and diagnosed him with several seriously debilitating disorders associated with aging. The Emperor was left in the care of the hospital, under strict guard. Then, the four who had captured him reviewed the constitution once again, to make sure their case had rock solid support. Once they were sure, the Rennia Alarm was lifted, and a national proclamation was announced. During that event, Generals Ryder, Wilson, and Lehreit, representing three different branches of the military, professed a statement of non-confidence, citing their belief that the Emperor was not of sound mind. The official diagnosis from the psychologist provided the professional support, and Rex provided confirmation from a member of Krennic’s daily close associates. Once the proclamation was made, they sat back, and waited for the civil and military leaders of the nation to vote on the matter. In an overwhelming majority, the government structure decided that Krennic was no longer mentally fit enough to run the country. So, on the 10th of 263, James Krennic was officially removed from office, with full honours, respect, and thankfulness for his guidance for the past 16 years. His will was read among the government branch heads, including his named heir. Many expected him to return the mantle of Emperor to Tiberius Rex, but his will-written about a year after Emperor Ren’s death-named his heir as Kai Octan.
