Salem Hoods
Salem Hoods was Formula Lego's first Driver's Champion, taking the Season 1 Title with Octan, who she raced with for 9 Seasons, before racing for her own team, Silva, for Season 10.
She raced with Octan under the number 21-1, and at Silva under the same number.
First Championship
Salem began Season 1 strong, winning Race 1 and Race 2. Octan Teammate (and future champion) Mikael Cagne won Race 3, while Hoods finished P2. National's title contender, Vance Lewison, won Races 4 and 5, at both of which Hoods finished on the bottom step of the podium. He managed to overcome a 20 point deficit to be tied with Hoods by the penultimate race. In the Season Finale, Cagne won, once again, and Hoods managed to sneak her way to P2, a place above where Lewison finished, and clinched the Maiden Driver's Title.
Continued Title Contention (Seasons 2-5)
Hoods stayed in Contention for Titles for several more seasons, ending Season 2 with just one victory, but still only 5 points behind Lewison, who brought home National's First Title.
Hoods Struggled in Season 3, and missed 2 of the 6 races, after crashing badly in Race 3. She was injured, and had to sit out Race 4 as well, but still managed to finish P8 overall, and P4 within Octan.
Salem was runner up in Season 4, ending just 5 points shy of Kira Sanchez. While many disputed how worthy Hoods would've been, had she won the title, her incredible string of luck, managing to start every race despite the problems that with the Osborne sparkers that every team used.
During Sanchez' Sweep Season, Hoods picked up what podiums and points were still available, and finished P3 overall, and P1 within Octan.
Octan Midfield (Seasons 6-9)
Minor Changes to the Car from Season 6 onwards threw Hoods off, and she never quite fully adapted back to the full potential of the Octan.
She finished Season 6 in 10th place, and 3rd within Octan, with a highest finish of P6 at Race 5
Season 7 proved even less fruitful for Hoods, as she finished P13 overall, and P4 within the team.
During Season 8, Hoods regained some of her lost speed, after more changes to the Octan car balanced some of the issues that Hoods was having with it, and she finished P6, and 2nd within the team, behind only Lily Gasly, who narrowly missed out on a title.
Season 9, Hoods last at Octan, saw her slip back a little again, finishing only P8, and P3 within the team. However, as a majority stakeholder in Silva Automotive Motors, Silva's parent company, she was given control of their Season 10 entry, and took a drive with the new team.
Silva (Season 10)
Silva proved to be very overhyped, and as a team scored a net -9 team points. Hoods managed their best result, finishing P14 in The Finale, and becoming the only Silva driver to score points. Disheartened by the lack of pace in Silva, she stepped back from driving for the team, and took on the role of trying to sell the failing team, which she managed to do, to Oscar Windsor, who rebranded the team as Windsor Racing.
After Silva and Formula Lego
Hoods retired after a successful FL career, and took up a senior management position at Silva Automotive Motors, where she remained for nearly 15 years, although she did move positions quite a bit. She retired to a country home in the Branceau, in the south of the EotLP, where she lived through the rest of her life.
