Aleksandar "Aleks" Rosya was a Formula Lego Driver, who raced with Quantos, National, and Spalding Racing. He was the second driver to win a repeat title, winning in both Season 11 & Season 12, racking up an impressive 8 wins between the two seasons.
He raced at Quantos with the number 98-4, at National with 98-49, and at Spalding with 98-1.
Early Racing Career
Aleks was born in 232, and won the Cklserolvan Jr. Karting Series' Title in 250, and followed it up with the Sr. Series Title two years later, in 252. With this pedigree, he was an easy choice for Tomo Docrik's new team, Quantos, when they launched in 253,
Quantos (Season 10)
Aleks' First Year in the Sport was invigorating, as he confidently threw his Quantos CQA-1 into positions that, based off of the rest of his team's performance, should not have been possible. He finished in the top ten at 6 of the 8 races, and scored points in all of them. At the last race of the season, he executed a brilliant combination of both Strategy and Driving, staying out far too long on a pair of old #2s, and taking advantage of the RFPSTP rule, and continued to race incredibly well, finishing a comfortable P4 at the end of the race. National was impressed by both his raw skill and race-craft, and offered him a drive for the next season, which he gleefully took.
National (Seasons 11 - 13)
Aleks hit the ground running with National, winning his first race in the NC3, and going on to lead the team to a third consecutive Constructor's Title, and to his own maiden Driver's Title. He battled the whole season against Octan's incredibly talented rookie, Adrienne De Leon, but a podium finish at the last race of the season gave him the title, by just 5 points from De Leon. He took 4 victories across the season, and became the second driver to win a Driver's Title in a season they had DNF-ed in, after Vance Lewison did the same in Season 2 (Kira Sanchez won the Season 4 Title having suffered a DNS, potentially putting her in this competition, depending on definitions). He also tied Season 1 Champion Salem Hoods as the youngest drivers ever win a Driver's Title, at just 20 years old.
Rosya continued his incredible form into Season 12 as well, Winning 4 races once again, and taking the Driver's Title by a larger (but still small) margin over De Leon. He also qualified significantly better than the previous season, starting on Pole 5 times, compared to Season 11's once. With his second title, he became the second driver in FL to win more than one title, now trailing only the great Kira Sanchez, who won the Driver's Title in S4, S5, and S8.
With a new set of Technical Regulations coming into effect, National lost their spot as the clear best car in Season 13. It was, in fact, a low point for National, as the team didn't even finish in the top half of the Team's Constructor's Title Race, something they hadn't done since there were only 3 teams in the sport. Aleks failed to score a podium eve once, and had results worse than his first Season, when he was racing with Quantos, scoring an average of 22.083 points per race, compared to Season 10's 29.375 points / race. National also announced that it would be no longer owned or controlled by the Rennian Government after Season 13, and would be owned by Jenny Spalding, National's long-time Team Manager (who had effectively owned the team for it's entire life). Rosya pledged to race with this new team, Spalding for Season 14.
