Season 5, while interesting for the domination that Kira Sanchez showed, was relatively boring, since the front runners were separated by huge distances, and the mid-field, and back runners didn't provide much interesting content (with one third of the drivers failing to score even once).
Technical Changes
After the horrible reliability issues that all three teams faced in Season 4, the regulations were changed again, to avoid the same situation arising again. Osborne moved from the A22G to the A25B Powertrain, Octan from the UX5 to UX7, and National from the UX5P to the UX7N. Because of the added difficulty of making their engines better, while backtracking from the Season 5 Regulations, all three teams agreed not to upgrade their Chassis for Season 5.

Season Progression
The fifth season of EotLP Formula 1 really was Sanchez’ season. She won every single race, ending the season with 450 points, far surpassing the 2nd place Vikalkin’s 395 points. She became the first racer to win two world titles in a row, as well as setting records for the number of wins in a season, and surpassing Vance Lewison’s record of 6 Career wins, as she ended the season with 9 Career wins. Michael Osborne was understandably elated at these events. However, Team Osborne still didn’t break Team Octan’s Season 1 record of 32 Constructor Points, coming just shy with 31 points, which still gave them an easy Constructor's Title, far surpassing the second place National's 14 points. Octan, for the first time, came last in the Constructors rankings, only managing to scrape out 9 points throughout the whole season.
Sanchez’ form was impeccable throughout the entire season; she won by more than 10 seconds in every single race. The closest runner up was her Teammate Josep Vikalkin, who came in 10.024 seconds behind Sanchez in race 3. Vikalkin, too, proved himself once again as Osborne’s faithful, steady scorer, as he edged out Salem Hoods by just 15 points to come second overall – his best placement yet in his Formula Lego Career.
Overall, after the disasters that plagued Season 4, the fifth Season of the EotLP GP was a breath of fresh air, and reinstated the hope that many people had both in the legitimacy of Sanchez as a World Champion, as well as reinvigorating hope in some people that the EotLP GP was focused on quality racing and less on stringent technical regulations.
A previously unknown technical error caused both Octan Rookie Lily Octan as well as National Rookie Ella Fader to be assigned League #58. Because this was an error made by the EotLP GP Commission, and not the teams or drivers, it was decided that the two drivers could continue to race under the same number for the time being.
Technical Details
For this Season, Osborne Racing ran on the Osb20Q Chassis, and the OsbA25B Power Unit. Octan ran on the OE21A10 Chassis and the UX7 Engine. National fielded the OE21A10B Chassis and the UX7N Power Unit
