Sports in the EotLP
The EotLP had many different leagues for various sports, at various levels, which were either based inside or played within the EotLP.
Internal Leagues
Badminton
Basketball
The Rennian Basketball League - founded in 240 among the reconstruction efforts in the Balkavanian EotLP - consisted of 10 teams who played each other twice across a season.
Hockey
Field Hockey
With the Mediterranean climate of the Irinian EotLP, Field Hockey had been popular as long as popular memory served. The Irinian Hockey Conference had been around since at least the year 153 (although it possibly had been around longer than that, but there was no mention of it before 154, when the previous years' champions were mentioned in a government memo). However, after the first NRR Invasion, the Irinian Conference was folded into the much-inferior NRR Conference, and the teams were slowly dissolved over the next few years of NRR Control. Once the EotLP Won Independence from the NRR, with government support and huge popular support, a new Hockey Conference was founded: the Premier Hockey Conference (PHC), who competed with the ECFL in terms of Popularity. After the Balkavanian Resettlement, the PHC found its feet quite quickly, and remained popular. Although Ice Hockey was generally more popular in the Balkavians, Field Hockey did exist in a relatively widespread manner, however there were no Club-level international competitions, until 243, when the EotLP Government funded an EotLP - based International Club Competition, bringing together the best two teams from each Country where Field Hockey was played to play a playoff-style tournament. The Rennian Hockey Internationals (Often Called the Field Hockey Internationals) greatly increased the popularity of Field Hockey outside of the EotLP in the Balkavanians.
Ice Hockey
Due to the Popularity of Ice Hockey in the Balkavanians, the EotLP Government founded the Rennian Ice Hockey Association League (RIHAL) in 238, with their first games being played in the 238-239 season, making them the first EotLP League to run across multiple Years in a single season. Thanks to the very low number of Rennians who had experience with Ice Hockey, the league mainly recruited second-tier players from other Nations and Leagues, which gave the RIHAL a reputation internationally as a second-rate league, which caused only two teams from RIHAL to compete in the BHCC every year, as opposed to the normal 3 or 4 from other Nations.

Primarily Rennian Leagues
The Premier League of Football in the EotLP was known as the EotLP Cardinal Football League (or the ECFL), which was considered among the highest quality in the Balkavanians, once it had properly resettled in the Balkavanian EotLP. Due to the initial mistrust of the EotLP by other Balkavanian Nations, The ECFL had very few foreign players for several years, and Rennian Players found it difficult to find places to play elsewhere in the Balkavanians. Therefore, a very strong national identity grew up around the ECFL. However, by 245, There were several teams from outside the EotLP competing in the ECFL.
The Second Tier of Football in the EotLP, the EotLP Association of Auxiliary Football Clubs (AAFC) was founded several years into the Balkavanian EotLP's existence, when the ECFL decided that it was time to have Relegation and Promotion in the EotLP as well.
International Competitions
The Balkavanians Cup of Champions (not to be confused with the Balkavanian Hockey Cup of Champions) brought together the top 2 Football teams from each Balkavanian Nation for a massive knockout competition.
Formula Racing
Founded in 244, Formula Lego was originally a competition between EotLP Military Engineers, Kai Octan's best and brightest, and their opposite numbers at Osborne Co. However, it grew in popularity enough that, after 10 years as a sport, they expanded Internationally, becoming one of the most popular sports in the Balkavanians.
Hockey
Field Hockey
Founded and primarily held in the EotLP, the Rennian Hockey Internationals (colloquially the Field Hockey Internationals) were a knockout tournament bringing the two best teams from each Nation together to crown a single champion team
Ice Hockey
Balkavanian Association Hockey Cup of Champions (BHCC)
International Competitions
Basketball
The Balkavanian Basketball International Championship took place on alternating years, bringing together the best players from each Nation to face each other in a Pool-Play style tournament, followed by a 3-round Playoff.
Football
The Cup of the Balkavanians saw the best Footballers from each Balkavanian Nation come together for a major semi-yearly (taking place on odd numbered years) tournament, starting with Pool-Play followed by a 3-round Knockout Playoff, culminating in a Championship and 3rd Place Playoff Game.
Hockey
Field Hockey
Founded by the EotLP Government, the Balkavanian Tournament of Hockey faced up all the nations semi-yearly with a Field Hockey team against each other, resulting in a best-of-three games Championship series.
Ice Hockey
On an International Level, the Balkavanian Ice Hockey Championship saw the Nations of the Balkavanians go head to head each year for one championship trophy. In their first year competing, 239, the EotLP won their first Game against Krjstendodjl (3-2), and advanced to Round 2, where they lost 4-2 to Soramti.
