Independent Nation of Campestrem

The Independent Campestrem Nation (INC) was a short-lived Entity that existed between the end of the Second Rennian Rebellion and the Signing of the EotLP Constitution, which officially brought the EotLP into existence. The INC never had an official government, although the Irinian Freedom Council (IFC) - led by Sergio Ren - held control over the short-lived nation, and Ren was nearly universally regarded as the Leader of the INC.

Background

From 219 - 227, Sergio Ren led a series of Protests, and later Armed Rebellions against the New Roman Republic, who were occupying the Irin Plateau as a Colony, which they referred to as the Campestrem Regionem. History

Founding & Recognition by the NRR

As soon as the situation in the CR became obviously unsalvageable, a representative of New Roman Consul Lucius Rufus Brutus was dispatched to the Campestrem Regionem to sign a peace treaty, recognizing the "Independent Campestrem Nation" and its control over the Area previously regarded as the Campestrem Regionem Colony. This treaty was signed on the 38th of Actaber, 227, and came into effect immediately, creating the INC.

Dissolution

With the signing of the EotLP Constitution on the 27th of Dolo, 228, the INC was replaced by the EotLP, and effectively dissolved.
