Silva Automotive Motors Formula Lego Racing Team, known as Silva, had their first season in FL in Season 10, when they joined alongside Quantos. Their parent company, Karebyr's Silva Automotive Motors, was among the largest consumer car brands in the EotLP (With some influence over its neighbours, as well). Salem Hoods, who had driven for Octan from Season 1 - 9, was Silva's majority shareholder, and was given control of the doomed team a few days before the start of Season 10. Silva's confident entry into Formula Lego was paired with laughably bad results, which led to the re-branding of the team, and transfer of all its resources after just 2 Seasons in the sport. They bought their Power Units off of Osborne, which wasn't a bright idea, because Osborne was struggling under the 252 Technical Regulations.

Although Salem Hoods was the owner of the team for both of it's doomed years, she was never directly involved with the terrible R & D. Jeremy Cohen, who was not a remarkable racer in his time at Octan either, led the development of the terrible SW-1 and SW-2 as Silva's Technical Officer. Their Management was equally unprepared for the realities of running a team, being headed up by Fernando Doohan, whose experience with racing amounted to one season of FL with National.

Season 10

Silva's Debut season was ill-planned, under funded, and badly staffed. While the Silva staff were generally considered very friendly people, who were passionate about the sport, almost none of them were qualified to design or work on a Formula Lego car. Even their technical director, Jeremy Cohen, who did have some racing experience, had a career high of 10th in the Standings, and had only ever scored a single podium. Despite all their effort and innovation (Their Season 10 car, the SW-1, was the first high-rake car in the sport), they scored poorly, with their best result as a team being Salem Hoods' 14th Place in the Season Finale. They scored a net -9 constructor's points. The parent organization pulled their Title-Sponsor money out for the next season, unless Silva could improve their results. However, Hoods, who had stepped away from the cockpit after Season 10, managed to find a new Title-Sponsor, with Trade Marker, a well-known Law Firm.

Season 11

Silva's Season 11 was even more abysmal than their Season 10 challenge, with the car further off the pace, and somehow even less competitive. With the introduction of Angel, the rules changed to mean that the lowest qualifying 5 cars would not even participate in the race. In Race 1, only two of Silva's Five drivers (Aoife Thomas and Grace Evans) qualified for the race. Thomas' suspension didn't survive the race, and Evans finished dead last of the finishers. At Race 2, only Russel Perez qualified for the race, and his car met a different, but equally race-ending fate as Thomas' had the previous race. Over the next four races, not a single Silva made it out of Qualifying. Finally, after racing in only 1/3 of the races of the first half of the season, they stepped out of the sport, having scored the absolute minimum number of points possible in 6 races. Despite having a full half of the season to go, no team got within 10 points of their abysmal record.
