EotLP Regions
This is a list of the Regions of the EotLP, and a brief description of each, organised by the date that they joined the EotLP.
Campestrem EotLP
Legoia County
Legoia County was the first to be defeated by Ren's Rebels, in the early hours of the 8th of 227. However, just 5 days later, it was retaken by Roman General James Krennic's Avenging Units, and became a centre of operations for Krennic and the Romans as they began to sweep back across the Campestrem Regionem. It was retaken by Ren's Rebels around noon on the 27th of 227, when the 6th Resisting Division landed unexpectedly in Roman Transport Aircraft, and decimated the 540 Roman Soldiers stationed in Legoia. Legoia would become the Capital of the EotLP until the Smelly Cabbage Incident.
Cerlis County
Cerlis County was conquered with little resistance by the 1st Resisting Division on the 9th of 227, but the capital of Spalke was then recaptured by the 60th Avenging Unit after a 6 day siege, ending on the 19th of 227. After the 6th Resisting Division re-re-took Legoia in the 3rd Battle of Legoia, the 50-man strong rear guard that was left in Spalke to maintain Roman Control offered a conditional surrender to the 6th Resisting Division's Colonel, Antonia Hadrian di Sala Serana on the 29th of 227. It remained under Rennian Control until the end of the Campestrem EotLP.
Spalke County
Spalke County was officially taken by the 2nd Resisting Division as they moved towards the Southern Town of Reiths, on the 9th of 227. However, the 70th Avenging Unit, personally commanded by James Krennic, retook it with high Rebel and low Civilian casualties, on the 22nd of 227. The 70th moved on to Reiths, but returned on the 26th of 227, and was met by 1,125 more soldiers from the 60th and 80th Avenging Units who crossed the Lisenne from Inare on the 29th of 227. Despite General James Krennic's determination to continue to stand against the Campestrem Rebels, his troops disagreed, and after being convinced by his subordinates, Krennic offered terms of surrender to General Ren, who accepted them, and the entire Rebel Army marched into Spalke to no resistance on the 30th of 227, marking the end of Roman Resistance to Rennian Control of the Campestrem Regionem.
Reiths County
Reiths was taken on the 10th of 227 by the 2nd Resisting Division, but was lost back to the 70th Avenging Unit, under the command of 70th Centurion Yan Segira, in a Pyrrhic Victory, where the 2nd Resisting Division, under the Command of Resisting Colonel Agaré Meleny took as many Roman Soldiers out with them as they could. The Romans lost 1,326 Soldiers in the Battle, but killed 559 of Meleny's 642 Soldiers by the 26th of 227, after three days of Fighting in and around Reiths. After the Third Battle of Legoia, the 70th retreated to Spalke, and on the 28th of 227, The 1st Resisting Division swept back through Reiths, unopposed, and re-established their control over the county, which would remain under Rennian control until the Smelly Cabbage Incident in 235.
Brutus County
Brutus County's capital, Brutuville was taken by the 3rd Resisting Division on the 9th of 227, but fell after the Battle of Brutuville on the 26th of 227. However, the very next day, after the 3rd Battle of Legoia crippled Krennic's supply routes, the 60th and 80th Avenging Units left the city for Inare, in Balka County, and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Resisting Divisions retook the City on the 28th of 227, just two days after they were pushed out of it. It remained under Rennian Control until the Smelly Cabbage Incident
Balka County
The Northern part of Balka County, namely the city of Inare, was taken by the 4th Resisting Division on the 9th of 227, but after the hugely destructive Battle of Balka Lake, which resulted in 2,347 civilian deaths, after the Roman Centurion of the 80th Avenging Unit, Liassem Horatian, shelled the city, without regard for Civilian Casualties. 78 Rebels and 26 Romans were killed in the altercation. The Region was retaken by the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Resisting Divisions, after the Battle of Inare, during which 1,125 Romans managed to cross the River Lisenne and Reach Spalke, but another 1,478 were killed, and 932 surrendered to the Rebel Army. The rest of the County did not have any direct Rennian presence or control until after the end of the Rebellion, when Roman Consul Lucius Rufus Brutus signed a treaty, creating the Independent Nation of Campestrem (INC).
Rufusville County
Rufusville was brought under Rennian Authority on the 20th of 227, when the 1st Resisting Division swept through it to its capital, Rufusville, after being pushed out of Spar, in Cerlis County the previous day. It remained under Rennian Control through the rest of the Second Rennian Rebellion, until the Smelly Cabbage Incident.
Iuius County
Iulius County was taken by Rebel Forces on the 26th of 227, as the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Resisting Divisions retreated from Brutuville to the capital of Gaius
Varia County
Varia County was not directly brought under Rennian Control during the rebellion, but was included in the regions that the NRR accepted that the INC had control over in their 'Recognition of the legitimacy of the Government of The Independent Nation of Campestrem."
Sinitola Free State
On the 24th of 228, the EotLP Army took their first offensive action, as they thrust deep into the Roman Colony of Nova Terra for a litany of reasons, mostly including access to a land border with the Ottenburg Empire, and to free the Sinitolian People, who had supported Ren through his rebellions, but remained under Roman Colonial Control. The Rennian Army initially made huge gains into the region, but came up against a huge obstacle; the Lisenne River. The Romans had already destroyed all bridges crossing the river, and Ren's army did not have an adequate Engineering Corps yet. Therefore, he made a call to arms for the Sinitolian People to revolt against the Roman Rule. Many, including those who had fought with Ren in the 6th Resisting Division, responded to his call, and began rising up on the other side of the River, splitting the Roman Force's attention, and allowing more of Ren's Army to be safely heralded across the river. With the help of former Roman General James Krennic, Ren's Army handily defeated the Roman Army. Due to a strong belief in Sinitolian nationalism among the Local population, Ren realised that he could not fully integrate Sinitola into the NRR as two Counties, as it had been under Roman Rule. Therefore, he and the Sinitolian Leader, Octavia Silenus, agreed to a semi-autonomy deal, where Sinitola would be partly controlled by Ren's government, but also maintain a form of local autonomy not seen anywhere else in the EotLP. Although they kept the Moniker "The EotLP," the official name of the State was changed to " The Empire of the Lego Plains and the Sinitola Free State," and some legal documentation (specifically within the SFS) began to carry the Acronym "The EotLPSFS."
Sinaero County
Sinaero County housed the Capital of The SFS, Sinaero, and was the County within the SFS that held the most Autonomy. In SFS Law, it was also designated as County 1.
Angollez County
Angollez County was named after its capital, Angollez City, and was legally designated County 2 within the SFS.
Cuitana County
Cuitana Town was the namesake of its County, as well, and was legally referred to as County 3. It had slightly less autonomy compared to Counties 1 & 2.
Meseva County
County 4, also known as Meseva County, after its capital, Meseva Village, had the least amount of Autonomy within the SFS.
Administrative District of Iseli
After the dissolution of the NRR, and the subsequent transfer of the Iseli Region and any remaining resources or holdings to the EotLP by NRR Consul Lucius Rufus Brutus, the region of Nova Italia was renamed to its original name, Iseli, and integrated into the EotLP, not as an autonomous region, as the SFS had, but as a single County (Iseli's population had shrunk so much it no longer made sense for it to be governed by more than one local government). Despite Civil Unrest, Iseli Legoians remained in the Empire until the Smelly Cabbage Incident.
Balkavanian EotLP
After the Smelly Cabbage Incident, and the subsequent Balkavanian Resettlement of the EotLP, Emperor Ren officially retained the provincial boundaries set in place by the Cagne Duchy over its former territory, but did not set up new Provincial boundaries for the area the EotLP conquered until more than a year later, once people had begun to properly settle in, and population, industrial, and agricultural trends became more visible. It was organised into 30 regions, and 3 special administration districts.
After the 270 Coup and the ensuing Constitutional Reform, the Province of Cagne Island was split into Cagne Proper, Cagne Rural, and Lakal. In addition, all 3 Special Administration Districts were eradicated, and the Provinces of North & South Rennian Krjstendodjl were formed out of the Rennian Post-War Krjstendodi Colony, bringing the Rennian Republic to a new total of 34 Provinces.
