Avayah Osborne

Avayah Lenna Osborne was the Formula Lego Season 14 Driver's Title Champion with Fire FL, who also competed for her father's team, Osborne, from Season 1, until the team sold in Season 12. She also took on duties as the Lead Engineer for Osborne for Season 10. She also competed for two races for Windsor, before signing with Fire.
She raced with Osborne under the number 7-7, with Windsor under the number 7-4, and with Fire under the number 7-11.
After her Formula Lego Career, she led the Auto department of Osborne GC, and began the process of rebuilding the Osborne FL team, which re-entered the sport in Season 24 as Osborne Racing.
Early Life
Edit this with Family Drama Update and accurate birthday
Avayah is Michael and Julia Osborne's fourth child, the second surviving one (Percy was killed during the Rennian Rebellion, and Leo was killed on an unsolicited rocket launch), and the only one born in the EotLP. She was born on the final day of 227. Along with her older sister Sarah, they accompanied their father in the evacuation of the EotLP during the Smelly Cabbage Incident. Once re-settled in the Balkavanians, she grew an interest in cars, and helped her father design a one-of-a-kind sportscar, the Avalere, of which only 11 were ever built.
Creation of Formula Lego
When her father began talks with Kai Octan about the creation of Formula Lego, Avayah was among the first to know. Her father reserved a seat for her immediately, although she was registered after most of the drivers had already been picked, making her the Team and League's Driver #7. Many people complained about her being contracted, as she had no real qualifications, however, her father defended her appointment, saying that
I have full faith in my daughter. She is entirely competent in a car. And besides that, I own the team. I get to do whatever I want with my team. Life's unfair like that. Get over it.
Avayah and her sister created her helmet design on one late evening at the family cottage on the Cagne Island coast. It was shown to the world for the first time at the Osborne Driver announcement press conference, a week before the first race.
Developing Driver (S1-9)
Avayah's first season in the sport produced enough results to silence many of her haters: she finished 3rd in Osborne, as she was outscored by Josep Vikalkin and Nocah Tsunoda, and 13th overall. Her best result came in Race 3, when she finished 4th, just a little ways behind Vance Lewison. Her father was incredibly pleased with her results, as was she. Many people begrudgingly accepted that she, perhaps, did deserve her seat on the team.
Season 2 saw Osborne find a little more pace than they had in the previous season, and Avayah scored enough points to land her a P8 overall qualification, while remaining P3 within the team. Her best race came at Race 6, when she took the second step on the Podium, between defending Champion Salem Hoods, and her teammate Mikael Cagne.
Osborne suffered quite a bit of pace drop during Season 3, as they focused more intensely on nailing the next years regulations. However, Avayah still mounted the podium in Race 4, just behind teammate Josep Vikalkin. She finished P8 overall, once again, but was outpaced by three drivers within Osborne, Vikalkin, Lily Gasly, and Phillip Mazepin.
Osborne entered an era of dominance in Season 4, but Avayah didn't find the same dominance as her team instantly. Her best finish was a third place in Race 5, but she finished P10 overall, and P4 within the team. She felt like she hadn't lived up to the potential that her team had offered her, but her dad said he still retained full confidence in her, as he saw her being very lucky, since she didn't suffer with reliability problems at all throughout a season of very hectic reliability issues.
Despite only finishing with a high of P7 in Season 5, Avayah began making her way back towards where she had been before, finishing 9th overall in a Team Osborne-Dominant season. However, with Kira Sanchez finishing years ahead of everyone else during the season, and Josep Vikalkin also very competitive, there wasn't much space at the front for everyone else.
Season 6 saw Avayah climb back onto the podium with a P2 Finish in Race 2. And, despite being involved in a crash that took all four front-running Osborne's out of the picture in Race 3, and a point-less finish in Race 4, she still finished an impressive P7 overall, and P4 within the team. Her consistency was impressive, even in an unpredictable season.
Avayah set a personal best in Season 7, as she finished 5th overall, and 3rd within the team, and produced her maiden victory at the season ender in splendid fashion as she cleared the field from where she started in P8, and took the victory by the skin of her teeth from Vikalkin, who was bearing down her after the second round of pitstops. Vikalkin scored enough points to secure himself the Driver's Title at that race, as well. She also scored another podium, this time behind Vikalkin at Race 3.
Avayah struggled a little more during Season 8, not stepping on the podium at all, and finishing P9 overall, which still netted her P3 within the team. However, with new Regulations coming into effect the next season, she began to work more closely with the team on the technical side, to try and get to know the intricacies of the Formula Lego Cars even better than she had before.
Despite a worse Season in Season 9, Osborne as a whole struggled, and she maintained her third-place within the team. Once again, she struggled to get to the front of the pack, and only managed a pair of P7 finishes. On the other side of the pitwall, she spent even more time this season working with her father and his engineers on the technical side of the cars.
Leader at a Declining Osborne (S10-12)
After the death of Kira Sanchez, and Vikalkin's temporary retirement, Sira Bowler and Avayah had to step up to lead the team in Season 10. Furthermore, Avayah had taken over as Technical Officer for Osborne, which added a lot to her responsibilities. Thanks to an incredible win by Bowler, and Avayah's two Engine Failures, Bowler finished 30 points ahead of Osborne, and Avayah had to settle for P7 overall, and P2 within the team.
Season 11 saw Osborne fall further backwards in the field, through no fault of Avayah's, as Southern Sports, who had purchased her Father's 50% share of the team, had filled the ranks with their own people, who were not up to the task, namely Ayn Solka, who had not been involved in FL since S3, in a limited Tech Officer role with National. Avayah finished first within Osborne by a significant margin, but couldn't manage better than P17 overall.
Season 12 ended up being Team Osborne's last, and to start it off, Southern Sports bought out Avayah's 50% share of her team, and invested even less into it, causing it to fall backwards, and even their race cars fell into disrepair. After 7 DNFs and 5 Disqualifications for Team Osborne, Southern Sports withdrew from the final two races of S12, and released their drivers from contract. Avayah signed a temporary contract to race for Windsor for the last two races, replacing an underperforming Grace Evans. She outraced both Windsor drivers in her Windsor Debut, and was beaten relatively strongly by Zarya Ilic in Race 12, but it was enough to prove that she was still not only a capable, but confident and incredible driver. She received offers from several teams over her S13 employment, and ended up signing with Fire, alongside Josep Vikalkin and Camilla Cyne. Over the year, she had also started dating S7 Driver's Title Champion Josep Vikalkin, although they hadn't made their relationship public knowledge yet.
Fire Career (S13-
Season 13 saw Avayah's first ever Driver's Title challenge, as her, Camilla Cyne, and Josep Vikalkin raced towards the title in a relatively dominant Fire car, with relatively little competition from any other team across the season. She started the season off strongly, winning the season opener, dispelling any worries that she may need time to learn the new car and team. However, she fell backwards from there, with Josep winning two races, and Camilla winning three before Avayah saw the top step again. In a mad dash for the title, she scored two consecutive wins right at the tail end of the season, in Rennia and Karebyr. However, a fourth win from Camilla at the season finale denied Avayah the title. However, Avayah felt as though she was close enough to Camilla through most of the season to have had a chance at winning the title, and certainly felt that her chances of winning a title were still as high as they had ever been.

Osborne's Re-entry to FL
Technical Officer
Starting in Season 8, Avayah began to work much more closely with the Technical side of the team, and her Father gave her full technical responsibilities of the team (Along with a 50% share of the team) in Season 10.
Without enough preparation, plus a poor starting point, the Osborne struggled hugely during Season 10, and found themselves outpaced by Fire, Octan, and National.
With a need to divert funding away from the FL team, and back to their Space Launching business, Michael and Avayah made the decision to sell Michael's 50% share in the team to Southern Sports - a major Jutvyrdan Broadcast Network. They insisted upon installing their own choices of personel at the top of the team - replacing Avayah with Ayn Solka, a brilliant leader and engineer, but one who hadn't had been involved in FL since Season 3. They also replaced Adan Wallace as Team Manager with Steve Beric.
